Fishin'

Melody just told me this:

"I am goin' fishing with Uncle Timon. He and I will be using my pink fishing pole that has stripes and a windey thing on it."

I then asked, "You like Uncle Timon?"

Her response was "Yes, too much!"

She is still saying how she is going fishing with Uncle Timon. So, Uncle Timon..if you are reading this..maybe you need to come for another visit soon! :)

"It has little stripes, Pink, purple, blue and green and yellow. I am goin' fishing with Uncle Timon. I'm gonna catch one because I'm gonna wind it."

On July 18th, Peter was at work and something happened with part of his machine and he reached in to fix it quick. Well instead of just fixing that he tore his arm on the metal. It is pretty nasty and he needed 4 stitches inside of the wound and 16 on the outside! OUCH! It didn't get into the muscles but it was deep enough to be super painful and to make it so he wasn't allowed to use his arm much. We still have to be careful to not hit it. They just took the stitches out yesterday and I can't get a picture of that until he takes off the bandages..which won't be till tonight at the earliest...so maybe I will show you the after shot tomorrow. But below is a photo of it on July 23rd..so it was several days afterward but still super icky looking. As you can tell he now has a smiley face on his arm....or if he turns it the other way as sad face as well. :)

MIA

So sorry I have been MIA for so long. I always plan on putting something new on here ...daily..really I do..but as life throws me a few curve balls..it just doesn't happen as often as I would like. I am up very early today. My sweet hubby woke up late and I woke up then as well...which is a good thing as my bloodsugar was only 48!! YIKES! It isn't suppost to be below 60! So I got up, went pee and came downstairs to eat something. I ended up eating a bowl of Cinnamon Life Cereal (THANKS PATTY!). So now I am full and still tired. I should be back in bed as for once in forever, Kylie didn't wake up at 4am! She has been doing this for a long time now and because of it I have just been wiped out. Even though I fell asleep feeding her lastnight and woke up around 2 am to put her into her crib..I am still tired! I really need to go to bed around 9pm and try to sleep till 8am...but that will NEVER happen. Anyway....with three kiddos life is rather crazy at all times. So please forgive me for not posting as often as you or I would like.

Melody's Birthday!

On Friday, July 20th my other baby turned THREE!! I still can't believe it! We had a joint party with Kylie and Melody on the 14th but she truly turned 3 on Friday. She is just a cutie pie! She loves to cuddle, paint, draw, color and she has the most beautiful voice when she sings! Here she is below with her girlfriend Madison hanging out on her picnic table out back. They were having so much fun..Madison didn't want to go home!

Below she is wearing a brand new "big girl" necklace I had gotten for her...it didn't stay on long. She did put it back on later though..not interested at the time I guess.

Ok so I take just a few pictures of the girls, right? For each of them I took about 300-400 in the first 3-4 days of their lives..thats all. :) It continues on from there. I just love getting their cute little faces on film..or digital media for that matter. Enjoy!

Family Photos

Melody doesn't like to always participate in family photos. As you can tell she was screaming in the first one and then took off for the rest. Oh well...I have plenty of pictures of her playing alone or with Kylie or Zachary. Aren't we cute?

Where's Kylie? Where is Kylie? This is what we were saying as Kylie kept hiding her face with the napkin. Anna was having fun playing peek-a-boo with her. Kylie looks rather happy herself!

Girls and their Grandpa

On the 4th of July Grandpa took Melody outside and put her in the swing..yes it is a baby swing..and yes it is the one I got for Zachary 11 years ago..but it still works for now! Melody loves to swing and is still trying to figure out the whole using your legs to "pump" and keep going..so she loves to be pushed and Grandpa was more than happy to help. She was having the time of her life!! Can't you just see it in her face? Kylie was there too watching from the grass while she picked handfulls and tried to eat it at times. :) She is still little so that is acceptable...just as long as it never ended up in her mouth. (The neighbors dogs visit ...yuck!) As you can tell the girls had a blast!
