Like I have previously said...

Melody is growing up way to fast. This weekend we went out and got her a bigger car seat. She was just about to outgrow hers and Kylie has already outgrown the infant seat..at only 7 months old. So it was time. (Sigh) It is so sad to see them grow up so quickly. I love the kids being little and so curious and having fun with pretty much anything! I have tried to take photos of her in the car seat but not quite yet on her part...she doesn't like to be photographed unless it is on her terms. I might have better luck once it is actually in the car. Right now I have not one car seat in the car...it is strange to see the whole seat again!

It snowed again last night and on Monday...no school for Zachary yesterday and a 90 minute delay today. Winter has finally arrived! Zachary has been home for 10 days on February vacation..but boy am I happy to see him go back to school! The snow is again lovely. Much better for making a snowman. Hopefully we will be able to go out and make one at some point. It is such fluffy snow this time..but great for snowballs..lol. It is supposed to snow again on Friday..so who knows...each time we keep getting about 3-4 inches of snow..but soon enough I am sure we will get hit hard with tons of snow.

Kylie has been walking a bit more each day and Melody is even trying to teach her new things daily. Kylie is such the great baby. She has been napping daily for about an hour or so in the afternoons..once Melody has gone down. She has been eating tons of baby food. I gave her a 1st meal for breakfast yesterday and then had to make her some cereal to go afterward..she was still hungry! Same thing happened for lunch but it was a 2nd food. Soon enough she will be eating big people food! She has been waving all the time too...it is soo cute! She even said goodbye to the mailman the other day. She loves bouncing in her exersaucer and chatting away. Her favorite thing to say is da da. So cute to hear her starting to talk too.

Snow

So here in the North East it snows..but this year not nearly enough as usual. We should have had about 3 feet of snow already..but we have only had about 8 inches! Anyway...we got a little bit lastnight but it ended up being a ton of ice too...so the trees are covered with ice and snow and look sooo pretty out of our front window. We live at the top of a mountain..so we see pretty far off into the distance..and the trees are lovely. I took just a few photos to let you all see what we see ..these are taken from the front door.

Ok..so the photos don't quite show just how lovely it truly is..but you get the idea. Melody is already practicing her snow angels on the carpet ...can you tell she is excited about the snow?

Melody's cuteness...

So, Melody is 2 1/2 and loves to show her independence lately. She is very proud and loves to do things HER way. With that said...

The other night we went out to eat dinner at Chili's..when ordering our drinks she pipes up and says: "Milk, please!"

Then when the waiter comes back to get our food orders she pipes up again and says: "Chickey Nuggets and Fry Fries" (Chicken nuggets and french fries in Melody speak)..as he walked away to put our orders in she also yells, "Thanks!"

When the drinks and the food get to the table..each and every time she pipes up and thanks the waiter. At the end of our meal he says thank you to us and Melody then says.. "and thank you". It was just soo cute. We don't go out to dinner that often and she truly surprised me on this night. She truly is growing up so quickly..why can't they be little forever?

Then this morning when I opened the shade in her bedroom she stands on the bed and looks out the window and says, "Wow, what a beautiful sunny day!" Even though it is very cloudy..but bright outside.

Ok..here are a bunch of new photos....

Happy Valentines Day! Boy is it hard to get three kids to sit together at the same time!
Well gee...aren't I cute! Hey Zacky..come play with me. After all...these once were your toys.
Oh man..what can I get into now?? :)
Happy Babies! Right after their bath. (Above and below)
Melody with Daddy ...laughing because I was taking her picture even though she didn't want me to take any.
Just adorable...not a thing else to say after filling up her tummy.

OMG..watch her go! 7/21/07..7 months old and WALKING!!!
and going...
and going...
ohhh...almost there....
YAY! Daddy is home and I made it!

Ok...one last one just because she is sooo cute!
I still can't believe she is walking. Ok, yes I can...Zachary was using this same walker at 6 1/2 months and Melody at 7 months..so yes..I can believe it but it is still hard to truly believe. My very last baby is walking already! She is also wearing 12 - 18 month clothing! Gee...can I just keep her at this age forever? PLEASE? I just love it!

New to Blogging

Well, welcome to my very first blog. I decided I better start one to keep everyone up to date with the family. It also gives me a way to express any joy, aggravation or just crazyness in my world.

Being the mother of three keeps me busy just keeping up with feeding them, keeping them clean and happy. I stay home with the two youngest mostly but this week my 10 1/2 year old son, Zachary, has the week off from school. OH BOY! Lets just say I wish he was in school. I love him dearly but lately he has been pushing every button he can with me and I am at my wits end. My 2 1/2 year old, Melody, is also getting very particular about things and only eats what she wants and only wears what she decides to wear..only when she is wearing clothing. My 7 month old, Kylie, has been getting very active; crawling, climbing and eating everything I offer. I just had to dig out the 12 - 18 month clothing for her because she is getting so big!!

I have been working at home with two direct sales companies www.cbunnyrep.com/8159 and www.stuff-n-snuggle.com/index.php?ref=648 and trying to help out with some extra money coming in from them. Take the time and check them out. Greats gifts!! :) So far it is helping a bit. My sweet husband has been working two jobs for almost a year now and he is very, very tired when he gets home..I have dinner ready and he eats and either takes a shower right away or passes out on the couch. He usually puts the two older kids to bed at 9pm and lately that is a feat in itself. Melody is enjoying the new set up in her bedroom but is not using it as she should. Instead of going to bed right away like she always has..she has been climbing, jumping and just going nuts at bedtime. UGH! The joys of young children who are stuck in the house because of the cold weather outside.

Oh well...I have to go and get the living room picked up yet again and feed Kylie.

Thanks for reading my first post and let me know what you think!
